Aamir Liaquat wanted to be cast in 'Load Wedding': Fahad Mustafa

TV personality Aamir Liaquat Hussain knows how to remain in the headlines, even if it is mostly for controversial reasons. In March the talk show host claimed that he will drag Load Wedding actors Mehwish Hayat, Fahad Mustafa and directors Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza to court for maligning his reputation through their film. On the contrary, Mustafa claimed in a recent interview that Hussain called him to say that he would have been pleased to play himself on the big screen, reported Express News.

“He himself called me and said if I would have offered him the role he would have loved to play that. It’s the same role regarding which he threatened to take us to court,” the actor shared. “Hussain also said how fun it would have been to work together.

It all started after Hussain called out Hayat after she slammed a publication for vilifying her image. “And should I not sue your movie Load Wedding where your entire movie revolves around me, defaming and wrongly portraying my character WITHOUT my consent? As an artist you did not only work in such a movie but you failed to stop the nonsense in it. Shameful!,” said Hussain.

Later on, when Hayat was awarded the prime Pakistani honour of Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, Hussain once again took to Twitter to clarify that he is still planning to take legal action against the film. “As an artist, you have failed to stop this mess and so, I should file a case against you,” Hussain had said. From Mustafa’s recent revelation it seems like the dust has settled between the makers of Load Wedding and Hussain but the TV personality has not confirmed or denied any such point of understanding.

Load Wedding Nominated For Best Feature At Jaipur International Film Festival, India

Ever since the Pakistani film industry revived itself we noticed that the audiences prefer to watch light hearted comedies here. However, on the international level this formula does not work all the time as the story content is of utmost importance when talking about film festivals abroad. With short films like Rani and then Gumm winning accolades all over we were also thrilled to see Load Wedding getting the recognition it deserved as it got nominated for best feature in Jaipur Film Festival, India.

Thrilled actress Mehwish Hayat and director Nabeel Qureshi, took to Twitter to announce the news.

"Very proud to share that our film "Load Wedding" has been nominated at the Jaipur International Film Festival. Amazing achievement when we can hold our own with the best of them," wrote the starlet.

 Load wedding is a romantic social comedy film, written mutually by the director Nabeel Qureshi and the producer, Fizza Ali Meerza under the banner of Filmwala Pictures. With Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat in lead roles, the film had released on Eid ul Azha this year .

The Jaipur Film Festival is all set to begin from 18th till 22nd January 2019 and we couldn't be more thrilled for the entire team as this is a platform where people get a chance to view best films from all over the world.

'Load Wedding' teaser is out and it's bursting with colours!

Fahad Mustafa has proven his acting prowess time and again. Combine his star power with that of Mehwish Hayat and you are definitely headed towards a blockbuster!

This year, Eidul Azha will witness intense competition as three promising films are slated to hit cinema screens. The teaser of Load Wedding released today and if anything, the battle just got even more fierce.

The one-minute-long teaser sees a happy-go-lucky Mustafa, whose dream is to have an extravagant wedding.

Next up is Hayat, donning a flawless traditional ensemble, which bears a striking contrast to her last character Amal in Punjab Nahi Jaungi. And must we say, she seems to have nailed this one as well.

The teaser commences with quirky beats and dance moves which might want you to groove along. While the clip mostly comprises scenes from a wedding, the last few seconds encapsulate heartbreak and sorrow, leaving us curious to find out more.

Load Wedding will hit cinemas this Eidul Azha alongside Parwaaz Hai Junoon and Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2.

Fahad Mustafa's, Mehwish Hayat's first looks from Load Wedding will leave you intrigued!

After much wait and anticipation, we finally have the first looks of our favorites Mehwish Hayat and Fahad Mustafa from their upcoming film Load Wedding. And yes, the duo has left us wondering!

While we see Fahad Mustafa in an entirely different character, sporting a mustache for the very first time, Mehwish Hayat too has gone out of the way with her look, experimenting with a nose piercing, a first for the diva, as well.

A baggy yellow sweater, blue jeans, with a red muffler that has Sorry written on it, we're rather interested to find out the reason behind Fahad's look and are wondering what the actual story behind the muffler is.

On the other hand, we have Hayat in a perfect desi girl avatar with a kurta shalwar, a long braid and traditional jhumkas. She's lost in a deep thought and it seems there's more to her personality than she let shows. And yes, we're digging the gorgeous nose piercing Hayat has opted for her character in Load Wedding.
