Urwa Hocane, Farhan Saeed to share screen space in 'Tich Button'

KARACHI: Urwa Hocane has been quite excited about her debut production Tich Button. And she has every right to be.

The starlet is bringing together four of Pakistan’s popular stars under one frame with the upcoming film. Her husband Farhan Saeed, model Iman Ali, actors Sonya Hussyn and Feroze Khan will star in Hocane’s project.

However, according to the latest buzz, the Rangreza beauty herself will be appearing in a cameo in the film too. She will be featured in a song.

While Hocane didn’t say much about the cameo in Tich Button earlier, she spilled the beans about her upcoming production. “Tich Button is a romantic drama,” Hocane previously told The Express Tribune. “I won’t say it’s a rom-com though as there’s some action in it as well.

I think I would call it situational comedy.” “We started working on this project a year ago. The script is written by Faiza Iftikhar (who has also penned hit serials such as Sheher-e-Zaat and Matae-e-Jan),” the 27-year-old had added. “It was our (Farhan and my) baby.

We just came up with the idea of the story in our home and it just made sense for him to step into the film industry with Tich Button.”

The film is in the final spell of completion as the makers gear up for a 2020 release. Directed by Qasim Ali Mureed, Tick Button will mark Khan’s return to the big screen after Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hay. This will be his second feature film. Ali will be back to silver screen after four years.

She was last seen in 2015’s Mah-e-Mir. It will be the third film for Hussyn after Moor and Azaadi.

Iman Aly Returns To Films With Farhan Saeed Starrer Tich Button

Iman Aly is a model whom we have admired for a long time as she is someone who handles herself with a lot of grace and poise. It was in a recent interview of hers with a leading daily where we also found out that she is all set to make her cinematic comeback in the highly awaited Farhan Saeed starrer and Urwa Hocane produced film Tich Button!

Yes guys, the new was revealed by the star herself who said, "I never approach anyone for work.

People approach me and I barely accept any offers. Qasim Ali Mureed ( the director) is my friend and he really pushed me into doing this film. Even though I told him I'll be busy, I wont have time, I'm getting married at the same time as the film's shoot but he convinced me on it somehow." With that she also broke the news of her plans to get married soon to Babar Bhatti, who is the grandson of Pakistani war hero Major Aziz Bhatti.

With her starring as the female lead while the other female actress is yet to be confirmed, she is currently busy squeezing the shoots in time, while she prepares for her wedding as well which is all set to take place in February.

Iman Aly made her debut with a leading role in the Shoaib Mansoor film Khuda Kay Liye in 2007 for which she also won a Lux Style Award for best actress and then returned to films once again in 2016 with Mah-e-Mir opposite Fahad Mustafa and did a supporting role in Bol .

To see her on the big screen again is going to be a treat and we for one do not want to miss out on that for sure!

Urwa Hocane replaces Sohai Ali Abro in 'Kaaf Kangana'

It was only a while back that Khalil ur Rehman Qamar, the maestro behind a million heart touching stories on Pakistan television and films, confirmed his own production and directorial venture, Kaaf Kangana. The plot, as revealed by Khalil Sahab, revolved around a love story between a boy from Pakistan and a girl from India. Khalil Sahab also mentioned that this particular film would be blunt in answering every little blame and every little misconception that India had put upon Pakistan.

Earlier, it was model Anoushey Mughal who was roped in as the main lead of the film, however things couldn't work out and then Sohai Ali Abro was signed on to play the female protagonist opposite Sami Khan. However, it seems there has been a change in the casting and now Urwa Hocane will be replacing Sohai Ali Abro in Kaaf Kangana.

The news was confirmed to HIP, by Khalil ur Rehman Qamar himself, who mentions things couldn't work out further and now Urwa Hocane will now be playing the female lead for his film. Khalil Sahab wishes Sohai all the very best and hope there can be more projects in the future.

Cameras for the film have already rolled. Where Sami Khan is playing the male lead, Ghana Ali plays the third angle of the love triangle that will now star Urwa Hocane and Sami Khan. Sahir Ali Bagga will be doing the music for Kaaf Kangana, whereas the film will feature top singers including Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Shafqat Amanat Ali, Atif Aslam and Arif Lohar as the main singing leads. The film will be a joint production venture by ISPR and KRQ Films.
