The recent poster of Manto — the anticipated biopic on controversial writer Saadat Hassan Manto — shows Mahira Khan in a never-seen-before avatar.
The actress, who is rocking the silver screen these days with Bin Roye, can be seen sporting a mustache with gelled back hair.
Although, Mahira Khan’s name was not revealed earlier by director Sarmad Khoosat — who will be portraying the enigmatic writer himself in the biopic — when he mentioned the cast to The Express Tribune, it is now being said that the actress will be playing a madari’s (monkey master) role in the upcoming film.
The movie is slated to be released in September.
