It's official guys; Ahmed Ali Butt has signed Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy's sequel to 3 Bahadur.
Last week HIP had reported that Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy is set to make a sequel to her blockbuster cartoon film 3 Bahadur. The animation house (Waadi Animations) had stated that actor and musician Ahmed Ali Butt will be doing a voice over for Gola,
Today, Ahmed Ali Butt updated social media with a snap of him with Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy and the script in his hand:
HIP connected with Butt to see if we could get some more details about the role. As per the actor,
"I can't reveal the details about my character, but it is definitely an interesting role."
The actor went on to say that he has,
"always been a fan of Sharmeen's work and this is a great opportunity to work with one of the most influential women from Pakistan. I'm honored and it's a pleasure doing it."
When asked why he said yes to do this film, he said:
"We hardly have children movies; this is one of the prime reason for me to do this. Plus its animation so why not? I mean who doesn't want to be animated?"
3 Bahadur was released on May 22, 2015 in all digital cinemas across Pakistan and grossed more than 6.5 crores at the local box office. it was Pakistan’s first and highest-grossing animated full-length super hero feature film.
