If there is one movie which changed the way people perceived Pakistani films the world over, it is Punjab Nahi Jaungi which despite having been released on Eid ul Azha last year is still going strong in different cinemas across the country.
An unbelievable fact for a Pakistani film, but with Humayun Saeed and Mehwish Hayat as the lead pair of a film that just mesmerized the audience, amazing music and dialogues that made the meme of the year, Punjab Nahi Jaungi deserves the status it has earned in Pakistan and abroad.
With, Punjab Nahi Jaungi, Humayun Saeed proved that he has been made for the silver screen. The actor looked absolutely dazzling on the big cinema screen and combining that with Punjab Nahi Jaungi's plot, humorous moments and drama, the film emerged as a total paisa vasul entertainer for all.
According to reports Punjab Nahi Joangi is still running in selected cinemas in Rawalpindi, Lahore , Faislabad, Gujrat, Gujranwala as well as Sahiwal making it successfully enter its 37th week.
Directed by Nadeem Baig and also staring Ahmad Ali Butt and Urwa Hocane, Punjab Nahi Jaongi shows no sign of slowing down.Perhaps the film's spell will be broken once Jaawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 but until then, PNJ reigns supreme at box office.
