Titled Abhee, the romantic thriller is being locally shot against a backdrop of the beautiful landscapes of Kashmir and will revolve around the theme of nationalism. Lending their vocals to the title track are the very popular Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Aima Baig.
The star-studded cast includes Saleem Sheikh, Usman Peerzada, Mahmood Aslam, Ehtesham-ud-Din, Yasra Rizvi, Hina Bayat and Asif Raza Mir.
The movie is being directed by Asad Mumtaz and produced under the banner of an international UK-based company Daniel Johnes Productions, which is all set to dive into its very first venture in Pakistan.
The story is drafted by Gohar himself with Shoaib Rabbani behind the screenplay.
No release date has been announced yet but the movie is expected to come out early next year.
