Stunning model-turned-actress Zara Sheikh will be seen shaking a leg on a peppy dance number in upcoming Hareem Farooq, Ali Rehman-starrer Heer Maan Ja. The actress confirmed the news in an exclusive conversation with Hip.

‘I am very glad to be a part of the project,’ Zara said expressing her excitement over the Imran Kazmi’s film. Zara will be the lead alongside a huge team of background dancers in a special wedding song, sung by Sahara, the band that last sang the hit ‘Billo Hai’ for Kazmi’s last film Parchi and choreographed by Osman Khalid Butt.

Reports surfacing on social media has it that the actress will also be showcasing her acting skills in Heer Maan Ja. ‘This is a surprise for the viewers and they’ll be able to find out after watching the film,’ she said while partially confirming the news but did not disclose any other details.

Praising the producer of the movie, Zara said that all credit goes to Kazmi for bringing all the superstars on board for Heer Maan Ja.

Zara made her debut back in 2000 with the blockbuster ‘Tere Pyar Mein’ which rose her to the heights of stardom. Since then, she had been on a long hiatus and just appeared on silver screen on and off. Zara made a comeback in 2018 with a special appearance in the film 'Jackpot' which made the audience long for more of her.

‘I kept getting offers for roles, but nothing seemed appealing to me. No offer felt like the type I was looking for,’ the picky actress said when asked why she did not go for any film as of yet while also revealing that she focuses on quality over quantity. As for Heer Maan Ja, she said it’s a great project and the entire team has worked very hard for the film.

‘I am considering some other projects as well for future,’ she said while shedding some light on her future career plans. We are super excited to see the vibrant Zara on-screen in Heer Maan Ja, coming out this Eid-ul-Adha.
